Chinggis Airlines Unity LLC was established in 2025 with the investment of Nomin Holding Group. The company aims to provide safe, efficient, and affordable air transportation services across Mongolia. Given Mongolia’s vast territory and low population density, there is a strong need to develop domestic air transport and improve accessibility to remote regions.
In line with this vision, the company received its ATR 72-600 aircraft with a 70-passenger capacity in March 2026, marking the beginning of its domestic flight operations. This aircraft is designed for short- and medium-haul routes, offering high fuel efficiency and the ability to operate on short and unpaved runways, making it well-suited to Mongolia’s geographical conditions and airport infrastructure.
The development of air transport plays a crucial role in saving time, enhancing travel safety, reducing overall costs, and narrowing the gap between urban and rural areas. The company is focused on expanding domestic flight networks, restoring previously operated routes, and increasing the utilization of regional airports.
Looking ahead, Chinggis Airlines Unity plans to expand its fleet with Airbus A320 aircraft and operate international flights, aiming to become a competitive airline in the regional market.
