As a new carrier in Mongolia’s civil aviation sector, “Chinggis Airlines Unity” LLC has officially commenced operations with the goal of providing safe, efficient, and affordable air transport services nationwide. The company successfully received its first ATR 72-600 aircraft from Morocco and is now fully prepared to serve domestic routes.
The 70-seat ATR 72-600 aircraft completed its first domestic flight on Wednesday, April 29, 2026, operating the Ulaanbaatar–Khovd route successfully.
Flight Schedule:
- Ulaanbaatar – Khovd: 10:00 – 12:10
- Khovd – Ulaanbaatar: 14:10 – 17:40 (Ulaanbaatar time)
The airline has also announced upcoming inaugural flights on additional domestic routes:
- May 1, 2026: Ulaanbaatar – Murun – Ulaanbaatar
- May 2, 2026: Ulaanbaatar – Dalanzadgad – Ulaanbaatar
The ATR 72-600 is designed for short- and medium-haul operations and is capable of landing on short and unpaved runways. This makes it highly suitable for Mongolia’s geographical conditions and regional airport infrastructure. The aircraft will significantly reduce travel time while offering passengers a safer and more comfortable journey.
“Chinggis Airlines Unity” LLC plans to expand its domestic flight network, reinstate previously operated routes, and increase the utilization of regional airports in a phased manner.
